The revised Georgetown Agreement, adopted in Brussels on December 6, 2019, transformed the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) group of States into the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS). The agreement outlined objectives to promote poverty eradication, sustainable development and economic participation among member states, while strengthening unity and solidarity.
