Improved dairy production in mixed farming: a study of Geneva estate: Dominica - UWI. Department of Agriculture Extension St. Augustine May 1986 - vii, 89 p. tbls., ill.

The study shows that farmers in the Geneva Estate, Grand Bay, are involved in the production of bananas, tree crops, roots crops, plantains and yams. The banana crop is uneconomical on a small acreage situation. The study therefore sought to look at other alternatives in agricultural fields which would improve the farm production and increase financial returns. The importance of the dairy production was looked at as an alternative approach to supplementing farming income. It also attempted to reiterate the importance of a co-operative as an effort to improve the marketing of small farm agricultural produce in Grand Bay and island wide.
