Proposal for the establishment of an Economic Development Unit (EDU) to replace the then existing National Planning Organization. The main objective of the EDU is to advance the economic development of Dominica by public sector action through existing and proposed essential programmes on a priority ranking basis. The structure of the unit and its relationship with the government structure and economic system are outlined.
