This document outlines the findings of studies conducted in the Marigot health district during the period October 1, 1991 to September 30, 1992. The studies focused on the structure and functioning of the primary health care services in a general and historic context, the collection of baseline data on morbidity and mortality, the patterns of flow of patients between the different levels of the health care services, and to analyze some of the major public health issues and programmes in Dominica. |
