Summary, etc. | Contains information concerning the concepts of protectionism as it applies to international tourism services, the identification of policies, measures and practices regarded as protectionist, and evaluation of their effects on state, operators and consumers; the measures adopted to limit or eliminate policies and practices considered protectionist in the travel and tourism sector. Provides a preliminary analysis of the legislative provisions in force in the transport, casinos and gambling houses. Also included in the report is the preliminary draft of a study which describes the work conducted by various organizations, like UNCTAD, and IMF.
