The meeting's objective was to lay the groundwork for cooperation between Arab States and the countries of Europe and to identify subjects and areas of common interest and mutual benefit. Papers presented give an overview of the existing situation and plans related to the information sector in the Arab region and in Europe. Proposals centre on development of information personnel in the Arab region, information technology, access to information sources, decision support systems, and rehabilitation of Kuwail's information infrastructure. |
