Describes the two major components of the Local Governments programme of rediscovery and development of cottage industries as (1) community education component (2) commercialization aspect. Under the community education component, research in community resources skills and the nutritional value of traditional crops, products and by-products will be conducted as well as training to interested parties. The commercialization component involves exploration and analysis of indigenous skills and products to make them marketable. |
