The 1979 World Bank economic survey, prepared by Ms. Dawn Elvis, examines the economic conditions of the Eastern Caribbean Common Market (ECCM) countries. It analyzes key development challenges, trade performance, fiscal and monetary trends and regional integration efforts. The report offers policy recommendations aimed at fostering economic growth, structural transformation and cooperation among ECCM member states. It provides a foundational assessment in guiding future development strategies within the context of small land economies and their vulnerabilities.
