Cracking was found at quarter points of most panels of the upper roof stab and in addition span beam were also cracked. A structural check on cracked members was carried out as well as soil investigations and reasons for cracking include inadequate reinforcement at various points. Proposed remedial action is the installation of a series of cylindrical shells.
