N2  - From March 1978 through 31 March 1981, the United Nations, in co-operation with the Government of Dominica, pursued two main development objectives in socio-economic and physical planning. Work on the five-year development plan was disrupted by Hurricane David, but numerous physical plans were prepared and a survey of settlements begun. Creation of an Economic Development Unit within the Government of Dominica is recommended
