N2  - The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) report of the meeting of the Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) prevention and control task force, held in July 2005, focused on addressing the growing burden on Non-Communicable Disease in  the Americas. The task force reviewed progress and strategies for preventing and controlling these diseases, emphasizing a multi-sectoral approach and regional cooperation.
