The report 'Barbados; estimation of the impact of a value added tax' by Kelvin Dalrymple, Carlos Holder, Linday Holder, and John King provide a comprehensive analysis of the potential economic effects of implementing a value-added tax (VAT) in Barbados. The report was commissioned by the Government of Barbados in 1995 and was used to inform the decision - making process loading up to the introduction of the VAT in 1997.
